Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using VivahShaadi. By registering or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age (21 for males as per Indian matrimonial norms) to register.
  • You must be legally unmarried, divorced, widowed, or separated at the time of registration.
  • You must be a resident of India or an Indian-origin individual residing abroad.
  • Registration is not permitted for minors or on behalf of minors.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in your profile.
  • You must promptly update your profile if any information changes (e.g., marital status).
  • You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false information, impersonate another person, or create a fake profile.
  • Post obscene, offensive, defamatory, or sexually explicit content.
  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other members.
  • Use the platform for commercial advertising, solicitation, or spam.
  • Attempt to access other members' accounts or personal data without authorization.
  • Misuse the messaging system to send bulk or unsolicited messages.

4. Premium Memberships

  • Premium features (contact viewing, unlimited interests, advanced filters) are available via paid subscription.
  • All payments are non-transferable and tied to a single account.
  • Subscriptions do not automatically renew unless you explicitly opt in.
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no premium features have been used. Contact care@vivahshaadi.com.

5. Profile Verification

VivahShaadi makes reasonable efforts to verify member profiles but does not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by users. We encourage members to exercise due diligence when meeting potential partners.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on VivahShaadi — including logos, graphics, text, and algorithms — is the intellectual property of VivahShaadi Matrimony Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

VivahShaadi is a platform facilitating introductions between registered users. We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of information in member profiles.
  • The outcome of meetings or relationships initiated through the platform.
  • Any financial loss, personal injury, or emotional distress resulting from interactions on or off the platform.

8. Account Termination

VivahShaadi reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms without prior notice. Members may also delete their own account at any time from Settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
